WEEK 2 Tournament in Progress - 2 Man Best Ball
Wednesday April 29 - Sunday May 3rd are the dates for Tournament #2. Check into the Shanty for Rules and sign up to play before
you go out. The Board of Directors met on Thursday April 30th at Fairways to discuss and approve the budget for 2009. Dave
Walos, Tom Lewis and Bill Vanacek were absent. We have 188 members to date.

WEEK 1 WINNERS
Matt Rusin (1st) and Dennis Stange (2nd place) were the Week 1 Tournament winners. It was a random draw of all players who
competed in the "Pick your handicap" Tournament. All winners will be contacted by prize chairman Gary Malis who
will pay out gift certificates from Pro Golf.

Week 1 Tournament begins today!
Week 1 Tournament April 22-26 - Medal Play
- Pick your Handicap (returning members from 2008 cannot exceed their handicaps by more than 5
strokes) - 2 Prizes. You might want to wait a few days to sign up for
the first tournament of the year which starts today as temperatures are forecasted into the 70's here for the weekend.

Snow delay
After this weeks snow, the course was closed after opening up on Monday April 6. It should be back open Thursday April 9th.
Posting of scores begins on Friday April 10. The tee time system phone # is 692-4100. That should be turned on when the course
reopens according to Course Supervisor Wayne Christman. If you have questions for Wayne, call him at 695-8529.
