Membership Forms are now available for downloading
Go to our "Forms" page to download and print out an application. Be sure to pick out the correct application. If
you are having trouble downloading the form, just send us an email for help. There is also a form there for those of you who
would like to advertise on our site for a fee of just $25 for a full calendar year. You will also notice new for this year,
you can comment on any of these posts by clicking the "comments" link for those who can't help but throw in their
2 cents worth.

Spring Social set for Saturday March 27, 2010 @ Fairways
Our Spring Social gets the guys back together for another year of camraderie. The event will tee off the 2010 Deerwood
Mens Club season. Watch here for more details but in the meanwhile, mark that date on your calendar. The event usually runs
from 4:00 - 8:00 PM featuring free Beer and Chicken Wings in exchange for your 2010 Dues payment. There will also be a 50/50
raffle so don't miss out on our first fun event of the year.

Another Member moves on to Greener Pastures
William A. "Beechie" Rehar passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Beechie
was the son of Anton and Jennie (Marincic) Rehar, born to them in McIntyre, PA, on July 7, 1927. He resided in Cramer, PA,
until moving to North Tonawanda in 1953. Beechie worked at Continental Can Company and North Tonawanda Water Department. He
served overseas as a photo technician with the 5th Air Force with the 82nd reconnaissance squadron. A member of the American
Legion #1322 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #1411. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing his Button Box/accordion.
His wife, Agnes M. "Pinky", parents, infant sister and brother, Mirko W. preceded him in death. He is survived by
his children, Daniel J. (Sheila Joyner) Rehar, Paula Lynn (Don) Vorpahl, Valerie M. Rehar, Donna J. Rehar, Vivian A. and (Don)
Schaff. He is survived by his brothers, Luttie (Martha) Rehar, Herman Rehar and sister, Tillie (Paul) Renosky, all of Pennsylvania.
Beechie was also the grandfather/father to Jeffrey W. Rehar. His grandchildren also include Christopher Sprigg, Scott Sprigg,
Jenny (Sprigg) Palumbo, Steven Krzeminski, Ashley Vorpahl, Caitlin (Scheller) Shear, Tarah Rehar, Sarah Vorpahl, Mallory Scheller,
Matthew Hopwood, Shauna Rehar, DJ Wurzer, Shylynn Rehar and Mason Mancini; and his great-grandchildren, Christopher, Mercedes,
Brandon, Andrea, Elizabeth and Aiden. No prior visitation, Funeral services will be conducted at the Fretthold Funeral Home
Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., in North Tonawanda on Friday at 2 PM, the Rev. Charles S. Sprigg will officiate. In lieu
of flowers, donations may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute in memory of Beechie. Guest register available at frettholdfuneralhome.com.
