You had to net between 70 and 80 and then on the random draw we had the following winners:

Mother Nature continues to be the bitch and has drowned out another weekend of Golf. For those of you members from last year who have not paid your dues yet (see paid list on our members page) you have another 2 days grace period before Treasusrer Tom Lewis leaves for vacation. After that date, if anybody still wants in, you will have to pay the late fee of $20. Our first Tournament is scheduled to begin this coming Wednesday, weather permitting. Our computer is up and running in the Shanty which continues to be renovated by Pete Laganiak. Tournament rules and sheets are posted in the Shanty. Tournament chairman Paul Riexinger will answer any of your questions regarding Tournament rules. For all new players, you need to post scores to establish your handicap. The first Tournament is a pick your own handicap event, so all can play with or without an established handicap in the computer. If any new players need assistance with the computer system, contact Handicap chairman Wally Hawthorn.

 

You can call 692-4100 or go on-line to make your tee times reservations now. The course opened on April 9th but with the ground still saturated, no carts were let out. They may let carts out by Wednesday 4/13 unless we get another round of the wet stuff. This coming weekend does not look good weatherwise but posting will begin this Friday. Member Pete Laganiak has offered up his services and is siding the Shanty. The computer should be in place by Friday but pardon our mess in there as we get the necessary repairs done.

It hasn't been turned on yet by the powers to be but if you click here you will be directed to the page where you can make on-line reservations. We understand the call-in system will still be in place if you want to bang your cell phones starting at 8pm the week before your desired play date. It would be a step in the right direction if we all don't have to rely on that bone-headed system. That phone # is 692-4100 but upon calling that #, I got a message from the Course Supervisor reminding me that the fall aeration of the greens was to begin soon and that the system was not turned on yet. Funny, I thought the course was opening tomorrow April 9th, they only had all Winter to get that system in place. Maybe the Winter wasn't long enough for them to get this done:)

DUES ARE DUE BY APRIL 15th.....No word on when Deerwood is to open but it will probably be within the next week.....
