WEEKLY TOURNAMENT RULES

2011

1        Tournaments start at 6:00 AM Wednesday unless otherwise noted and must be completed and posted no later than 7:00 PM Sunday. The Deerwood Men's Club Tee positions for tournament rounds shall be played from white tees' for the Buck & Doe courses. The Blue Tees will be the position to play from for Deerwood Men's Club tournaments when the Fawn course is part of the 18 hole course rotation when playing the Deerwood Men's Club weekly tournaments unless other wise noted.

2        The weekly tournament sheet must be signed and dated BEFORE you tee off.

3        Score MUST be entered on the Tournament Sheet hole by hole. Please include your HANDICAP in the appropriate column. You must also enter your score into the computer. Don't forget to check the Tournament Box on the computer screen when entering score for your tournament round.

4        While playing the tournament round another Men's Club Member MUST attest your tournament scorecard and be playing in the same group.

5        All tournament scorecards must be legible and completely filled out, including first and last name of member (no nick names) and date tournament was played. Completed scorecards must be dropped in the "Tournament Card Box", NOT in the Handicap Box.

6        All Tournament scores home or away, must be designated as "Tournament Rounds" in the handicap computer system.

7        According to USGA rule, all rounds of a tournament play must be a continuous 18 holes of play. If you sign-up, tee off and cannot finish the round for ANY reason, you cannot re-enter the tournament.

8        In case of ties, a match of cards as described by the USGA shall determine the winners.

9        Any infringement of USGA, LOCAL, or the above rules will result in disqualification.

10    Any matters of dispute shall be referred to the Tournament Chairman, whose decision shall be final.

11    All club members will be limited to winning THREE (3) individual & Two (2) team prizes per season.

12    When playing a team tournament, you MUST play in the same pairing.
